SHIMMY SHOWCASE debuts in San Pedro at Babouch Moroccan Restaurant

I am delighted to announce a new
“dancer call” for our inaugural Shimmyshowcase at beautiful Babouch Moroccan
restaurant in San Pedro! In keeping with
Shimmyshowcase tradition, the theme for this celebratory event will be
“Celebrate!” If you would like to
perform for this momentous event, please email Shimmyshowcase@gmail.com.
BEFORE you sign up to dance on
July 17th, PLEASE NOTE that Babouch’s sound system does not provide a physical
connection to individual music players.
All dance music for this Shimmyshowcase will be played on a single cell
phone that will connect to Babouch’s sound system via Bluetooth.
Performers are encouraged to select music that is
available on “Spotify” and email or text the link to the Shimmyshowcase
coordinator.
Shimmyshowcase will begin at 6:00
p.m. at Babouch restaurant. In addition
to a full bar, Babouch’s dining menu includes a variety of tasty appetizers and
entrees for your dining enjoyment during the program. Remember—since there’s no cover charge, we
depend upon all Shimmyshowcase friends to support our wonderful new host venue
so that they will invite us back for more belly dance showcases!
