coordinator Bella will host a special year-end holiday event– “Yuletide
Magick”-- with a talent-packed program featuring Laura, Adora, Nashua, Sarah al
Nour, Saviya, Ilana, Draca, Bella Nour, Mark Bissell, and Ritual Alchemy Dance
Company. If this outstanding line-up
doesn’t put you in a holiday mood, nothing will! So please support these performers and
Babouch by making this Shimmyshowcase one of your must-do events this holiday
season.
2023 Shimmyshowcase Events:
January 15 – The new year has just begun, and for those who
wonder what 2023 will bring, prophets in the form of belly dancers may have
some answers! Whatever the divine
source--religion, astrology, tarot cards, tea leaves, or Ouija board,
coordinator Saviya’s new Shimmyshowcase theme “Prophesy” is predicted to be a
sure hit, with guest dancers Sephira, Shauntel, Shaheen, and Mark Bissell
already in the line-up.
February 19 – Bella (Theme to be Announced)
March 19 – Yasmin (“The Renewal of Spring”)
April 16 – Ilana hosts another Shimmyshowcase favorite,
“Rock-a-Belly,” with Hala
