SHIMMY SHOWCASE takes place at Babouch Moroccan Restaurant on the
third (3rd) Sunday of most months at 6:00 p.m. Babouch is located at 810 South Gaffey Street,

September 18 – Coordinator Saviya returns, and with her she
brings “The Magic of the Jinn” to Shimmyshowcase! Dancing genies Rhea Raqs, Laura, Meryem
Vani, Shauntel, and Tribe Roman Morga will join Saviya to make magic at
Babouch. We still have room for more
dancers, so if you would like to add your magic to this fantasy, please email Shimmyshowcase@gmail.com so we can
add you to our cast of magical spirits!
Note: All Shimmyshowcase dancers
using recorded music will need to furnish their Spotify music by September
8.

you don’t miss another evening of great food, great socialization, and, of
course, fabulous dancing! We highly
encourage making reservations for 6:00 p.m. by calling Babouch (310) 831-0246.
In addition to a full bar,
Babouch’s menu includes a variety of tasty appetizers and delicious entrees for
your dining enjoyment during the program.
Remember—since there’s no cover charge, we depend upon all
Shimmyshowcase friends to support our wonderful new host venue so that they
will invite us back for more belly dancing showcases!.
