Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate Shimmyshowcase's spectacular return this past Sunday at our new home--Babouch Moroccan Restaurant!  Special thanks to dancers Amber Ray, Hala, Nashua, Sephira, Les Folies Rouge, Taji, Draca, Meryem Vani, Anaheed, and, last but certainly not least, Bella Noor, who did “double duty” as both performer and sound tech!   We packed the restaurant, to the delight of Babouch owners Jaz and Trina.  In fact, they were so happy that they’ve given us the green light to make Shimmyshowcase a monthly event at Babouch, so there will be plenty of dance opportunities to come!    

In addition to a full bar, Babouch’s menu includes a variety of tasty appetizers and delicious entrees for your dining enjoyment during the program.  Remember—since there’s no cover charge, we depend upon all Shimmyshowcase friends to support our wonderful new host venue so that they will continue to invite us back for more belly dancing showcases.
