SHIMMY SHOWCASE takes place on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Viento y Agua Coffee House in Long Beach at 4007 East 4th Street; (562) 434-1182  https://www.vientoyaguacoffeehouse.com/

Based on the consensus of a majority of coordinators and dancers, the Shimmyshowcase March 21st Anniversary event is hereby cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and resultant government declarations.  We thank you for your understanding and support.

At this time, plans remain in place to hold the next Shimmyshowcase, scheduled for April 18th, to be hosted by coordinator Ilana.  The theme is “Disco Shimmy!”  Hala, Christina Rizkallah, and Eliza are already practicing their disco moves, and they and Ilana would love to have more dancers join in the fun.  So if you like disco, or ever secretly wanted to give it a try, please email Shimmyshowcase@gmail.com, and we’ll be happy to add you to the program.  We will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation and, if necessary, update Shimmyshowcase status as we go forward.
