January 9: Xandra celebrates the beginning of a new Shimmyshowcase year and her birthday with the exquisite Draca, Kamar, Meryem Vani, troupe Baraka and Maria performing on the Shimmyshowcase magic carpet. Her wish is that you come down to I-Candy Coffee and enjoy a fantastic show in a cozy and friendly environment. We’d like to start a little earlier for this showcase—at 6:30 pm—to allow time for cake during the break!
January 16: Calling all ATS (American Tribal Style) fans for a “tribalicious” Shimmyshowcase as Ilana presents Desert Lotus Tribal, Sayuri Tribal, Synergy Tribal, and Little Lotus Tribal. If you love Tribal; are just curious about this style; or just like GREAT bellydancing (all the way from the Antelope Valley); then this is the night for you! So come to I-Candy and enjoy an evening of dance.
January 23: Saviya brings back by popular demand “Feathers & Fringe!” Those rhinestone whores return as Shimmyshowcase goes Burlesque. Guest dancers Delilah, IrinaXara, Devon, and Rebecca will shake their fringe and flaunt their feathers on I-Candy’s magic carpet. If you think more is better but less is best, then you don’t want to miss this show!

January 30: Jannah goes back to the 20th century hippie era of the 60's and 70's with a psychedelic “flower power” theme night. Performing to this fun theme are some truly sensational dancers guaranteed to make this a groovy evening for all. Dig this lineup: Taji, Najma, Ashley, male dancer Siraj, and the Om Sisters! So boogie on down to I-Candy and join in the fun as we turn back the clock once again.
February 6: Xandra will be your coordinator for this showcase, and she is pleased that the dazzling Sabrina and The Dancing Lotus duo are among our guest dancers for this evening’s performance. February 13: On this day before Valentine’s Day, love is on the mind, and Shimmyshowcase coordinator Ilana welcomes the extraordinary Tehani , and new Shimmyshowcase performers Rosella and Jayel as guest dancers, performing their interpretations of this day of romance which we know you will love! Please come join us for a memorable evening of dance and show a warm Shimmyshowcase welcome to all of these wonderful performers.
